Epcot is the SF beats scene.  The kid has been a Staylucid rider since day one and I’m thrilled to present his piece of mind.  You might know him as a vocalist: his recent album Heroes, produced by Salva, recently dropped on SF’s Frite Nite.  The Heroes Remixes EP is also out now with remixes by Zackey Force Funk, B. Bravo, Lorn, Mike Boo, and Offshore.  Now Epcot’s hitting the road as the MC for the Psychedelic Stereo tour with Mimosa and NastyNasty, check their links for dates near you.

And I Could Die Tonight

Epcot featuring Salva - “And I Could Die Tonight”

Epcot “Heroes” LP drops October 13 on Frite Nite

I met Epcot and Salva when we were all renting dilapidated offices in a cutty downtown building that had survived the 1906 earthquake.  We would show up after people had gone home from their jobs and start making beats in our offices to all hours of the morning.  Sometimes, during the night, we would roam the hallways and bump into each other.  Since those days, I’ve followed these dudes as they grind their faces off to bring some future shit to the table.

Epcot’s new album, produced by Salva, is not so much an underground rap or beat album as it is a cybernetic opera.  Follow Epcot like Big Brother through the foggy San Francisco streets as he slips in and out of his mutated superhero consciousness.

“Heroes” comes out October 13 on Frite Nite.
