Watch Staylucid for an upcoming mix ahead of their debut full-length Drink The Sea, released May 25 on the Mob’s own Glass Air label. And if you’re going to Coachella or any of their upcoming tour, you can hear it live.

Slidecamp is the duo of Ryan Gilbert (who records as Comma) and Boreta (of The Glitch Mob). As they quietly prepare their full-length debut for n5MD, we present this track, which is one of the first they ever did together. Due to their rare appearances and few releases, a petition was recently circulated online stating that the act of withholding their debut is “psychologically reckless.” This should help ease the wait.

LA-based electronic musician, multimedia artist and mad scientist collector Steve Nalepa combines deep dub bass, glitchy breaks, bioacoustic atmospheres and beautiful sinewave melodies to create his patented brand of ambient glitch dub. Nalepa has produced tracks with such legends as Bill Laswell and Pharoah Sanders, worked with the LA Philharmonic, shared a bill with Amon Tobin and DJ Spooky at Walt Disney Concert Hall, rocked Flavorpill’s Friday’s Off the 405 Series at the Getty Museum and performed on The Do Lab Stage at Coachella 2007. Nalepa is one of the artists featured in Visionaire 53 SOUND which includes 100 original sound pieces by David Byrne, U2, Danger Mouse, Dan The Automator, Yoko Ono and more. Nalepa’s Flatlands project drops March 20th on 1320 Records.
UPDATE: Flatlands and Flatlands:Remixes will be made available as a bundle, with several VIDEO tracks included in this seminal 1320records release.

XLR8R TV: Glitch Mob Street Warfare
A couple weeks ago I had to go into work on a Saturday morning after wilding out all night. When I left, it was a sunny day in SF so I called up Boreta. He said that the Glitch Mob was about to do a guerilla show outside the Apple store downtown. I jumped on BART and when I got downtown this was going on. It turned out to be a hilarious day, and this video captures it perfectly.
