Here at Staylucid we’ve met a lot of crazy fools controlling sound systems up and down the West Coast. Sometimes, we even want to hear them again. And once in a while, someone will be so fresh that we want to hide them away like a closely guarded secret. Take Danny Corn for example. This resident of Portland, Oregon just handed us a shiny mix of tunes that glow like a bag of kryptonite. The secret is out!

You might know him as a vocalist: his recent album Heroes, produced by Salva, recently dropped on SF’s Frite Nite. The Heroes Remixes EP is also out now with remixes by Zackey Force Funk, B. Bravo, Lorn, Mike Boo, and Offshore. Now Epcot’s hitting the road as the MC for the Psychedelic Stereo tour with Mimosa and NastyNasty, check their links for dates near you.

This year lot of forward thinking producers have developed sounds that none of us can identify anymore. In 2010 we will all travel further toward the outer realms. This goes out to everybody who has pushed that and supported it. Watch out for my Carry The Fire EP on Semisexual Records in February 2010. Happy New Year!
