Interview: Flying Lotus
I recently interviewed Flying Lotus for Big Up Magazine #4, which is just hitting stands. He was a very humble guy who took his time to absorb the questions and give me thoughtful answers. At the same time, he wasn’t afraid to say what he really felt. It was an amazing opportunity to get inside his mind as a beatmaker and see where he’s coming from. As a producer I felt truly inspired after talking to him. I can’t print the article here, but if you’re into his music, or forward thinking hip hop and electronic production in general, you should grab a copy of Big Up 4 and check it out!
