Minnesota native and nomad raver Matthew Arnold, aka Mr. Projectile, has been spotted in recent years wandering the California coastline with a Nord Modular G2 on his back.  After his 2004 album Sinking left a permanent impression on Staylucid’s collective brain, we’ve been following closely behind to hear what would follow.  Last month Projectile finally emerged with a new album, To The West, on his own Semisexual label.  The record is a chronicle of where he’s been over the last few years, and a pure beam of expression from the man who recently said he had “moved into a blue castle in the redwoods, developed superpowers, and directly experienced timelessness.”

It is with great joy that we present “Bioluminescence,” one of our favorite unreleased tracks from this album.  You can hear and buy To The West and his other releases directly from Mr. Projectile at his store:  http://projectile.bandcamp.com/

SLIDECAMP - FULL HINGE

Slidecamp - Full Hinge  [Download]

Audio clip: Adobe Flash Player (version 9 or above) is required to play this audio clip. Download the latest version here. You also need to have JavaScript enabled in your browser.

Slidecamp is the duo of Ryan Gilbert (who records as Comma) and Boreta (of The Glitch Mob).  As they quietly prepare their full-length debut, we present this track, which is one of the first they ever did together.  Due to their rare appearances and few releases, a petition was recently circulated online stating that the act of withholding their debut is “psychologically reckless.”  This should help ease the wait.

You can download more unreleased Slidecamp on Soundcloud.

San Francisco’s friendly purple button pusher EPROM has docked at our portal for a moment to deliver a symbol of goodwill.  The gift he brings is his remix of The Earlies “Breaking Point.” Click the image above (which EPROM also designed!) to download.

EPROM’s “Zoning” 12″ with Profisee was just released on Cloak x Dagger, while his split 12″ on Warp Records with the homie Eskmo is due imminently.  If those don’t melt your turntable, his murky single Humanoid is set to drop soon on Amsterdam’s blazing Rwina label. If you live in the US or Europe, EPROM will soon be landing in your city… check his myspace for upcoming live shows:
